Accuracy of Content
Every care has been taken in the preparation of this website, in particular to ensure that descriptions and photographs are as accurate as possible, however due to the handmade nature of the goods, dimensions will vary slightly, as will appearance.
Colour is portrayed as accurately as possible however, please be aware that the colour you see on your monitor may not be exactly the same as the actual product. That is dependant upon your monitor's display.
Once your order has been accepted you will receive confirmation of the order by email.
Most credit/debit cards are accepted. Wix Payments process these on our behalf, we never see your card details, just the information necessary to fulfill your order.
We recycle as much as possible when packing your order. Friends and neighbours donate boxes and bubble wrap which we re-use. If we have to use virgin materials we try to keep our footprint as low as possible.
Orders are normally dispatched the following day, by Royal Mail 2nd class post. If you need your order more urgently, then please get in touch by email, or use the contact page, to see if it is possible. The mail plane leaves the island once a day (except Sundays) weather permitting, therefore it is not possible to guarantee a delivery date. Royal Mail itself does not guarantee delivery times from the Outer Isles. Although it will happily take your money.
Orders received after Friday 10am will not be posted until Monday.
Postage to countries outside of the UK will be charged at cost.
Customers will also be liable for any customs or import charges.
If your order arrives and it is damaged or faulty in any way, please contact us immediately. We will arrange return or disposal and replacement/refund.
If you receive your order and you are unhappy in any way please contact us within 14 days of receipt.
You have the right to change your mind and cancel your order but you must contact us, by email, within 14 days of receipt of goods and return them, at your own expense and in the original packaging, within 30 days of receipt.
A refund or exchange will be given once goods are returned in perfect, re-saleable condition.
For reasons of health and hygiene, earrings for pierced ears are an exception to this. In the event of returning pierced earrings a fee will be charged to cover the cost of replacing the earwires/hooks/posts.
Classes, Courses & Activities
Classes & courses must be paid in full before attending. Refunds are available, minus a 20% admin fee, up to a month before.
After this time the fee is non refundable. This is because we are unlikely to be able to re-sell that booking, additionally we will have purchased materials.
Some classes will charge an additional fee for posting finished pieces on to you. The cost of this will depend on what you make and where you live, in addition, while we do our best to ensure items are packaged correctly, we do not accept liability for damage in transit.
Children: We do not allow children in our classes/courses. To include children would put the cost of liability insurance way over and above a level we can afford, that's even if a company would insure us.
We are often told that children are very responsible and have a degree of experience. This is irrelevant to the insurers, so with regret we have to say no.
